Accessibility

Neighborhood

We are a rural neighborhood located just 5 minutes from Spokane conveniences.

Guest Access

Guests have full dedicated use of the entire home, it’s separate yard, separate driveway and separate parking and over 1.5 acres of park like property. Hosts live next door in a separate residence and leave guests completely to themselves with total privacy but are available if needed. Hosts may need to access the yard for trash service or hot tub maintenance.

Good to know

This property tends to be a great fit for guests who appreciate a quiet, nature-focused stay and are comfortable in a self-guided, owner-managed home rather than a full-service environment. The farmhouse and approximately 1.5 acres of land are dedicated spaces for guests to enjoy exclusively, including a large grassy yard and gazebo with river views in the midst of park-like mature landscaping. Guests also have access to 200 feet of river frontage via a short trail from the house. The river frontage is a semi-private area of the property that may occasionally be shared with the owners in the house next door. We hope you’ll enjoy the peaceful natural beauty of the riverfront during your stay. Please note that although this is on private property, the land within 200 feet of the river is designated as a protected wildlife zone. That means there are maintenance limitations so please expect a more natural setting. The property includes river access for guests to enjoy but river conditions can vary seasonally and may include changing water depth, current, temperature, and riverbed conditions. Guests use the river and surrounding area entirely at their own risk. We do not provide watercraft or safety equipment. Please supervise children closely at all times near the water.

Other Details to Note

The home is nearly 120 years old. While it has been thoughtfully updated, it still has the quirks that come with a historic home, including uneven or creaky floors, steep stairs, and classic radiators in each room. We consider these details part of the charm and character of the experience, but they’re helpful to note before booking. Most of our guests love the peaceful atmosphere, the wildlife, and the opportunity to slow down and enjoy the property. If you're looking for a cozy retreat where you can relax, explore the river, and appreciate the character of a historic farmhouse, you'll likely feel right at home here.
