We open available dates within 3 weeks of the current date only, so if you’re looking for dates further out please check back. The farmhouse and approximately 1.5 acres of land are dedicated spaces for guests to enjoy exclusively, including a large grassy yard and gazebo with river views in the midst of park-like mature landscaping. Guests also have access to 200 feet of river frontage via a short trail from the house. The river frontage is a semi-private area of the property that may occasionally be shared with the owners in the house next door. We hope you’ll enjoy the peaceful natural beauty of the riverfront during your stay. Please note that although this is on private property, the land within 100 feet of the river is designated as a protected wildlife zone. That means there are maintenance limitations—altering the area in any way is not permitted, so please expect a more natural setting. Keeping it mostly untouched encourages a healthy habitat for local wildlife viewing! The river water is clear in the summer with a cold, but tolerable temperature and a sandy/rocky bottom which makes it a great swimming hole. It can also be navigated with kayaks or paddle boards. Please swim at your own risk and supervise children at all times. Recommend water shoes.
